I love my wii! but lack of gaming is a problem! I managed to get one at the beginning of january. My main reason was just for mario galaxy and mario kart! Can't wait for these to come out!

It's not really a platform per se... but I really enjoy the online room escape games such as the "Submachine" series and "Crimson room" and other similar point and click games like "Hazul."

Sure thing... here's a link to Submachine.... scroll down for links to the entire series. http://jayisgames.com/archives/2005/09/submachine.php

link to Viridian room, Crimson Room, and White Chamber.... scroll through the page to find each. http://jayisgames.com/archives/2004/05/viridian_room.php

In fact.... here's a link to a page of "escape" games. I've played most of them on this page. http://jayisgames.com/tag/escape

I used to love playing Knight Lore (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Knight_Lore) on the ZX Spectrum 20 or more years ago.

Atari 2600, but mostly because of nostalgia.

I also miss the variety of games on the Commodore 64.

I don't like complicated games, so the console epitome for me was the original Nintendo.

Bump for great justice.

Favourite game: Myst (the entire series, even Exile. :p)

Favourite console: PC if that counts, but if not, the SNES always did it best in my book.

Worst game I ever played (because that's a fun discussion too): Probably an NES game called Sqoon. Yes, I spelled that right. It was a side scrolling 'smup set underwater, I think.

Worst console ever used: I still don't like the XBox. And I doubt anything's going to make me change my mind about that giant block. :P

This (http://www.gameconsoles.com/atari2600home.htm) cost me 100 back in 1977.

This (http://www.gameconsoles.com/atari2600home.htm) cost me 100 back in 1977.
I begged, borrowed, and probably stole for the ATARI 2600..but I got it.

Best memory:

I could program in Basic back then. The local department store had an Atari 2600 on display, I programmed it to display "Press any key to continue". At which point the customer would press a key to result in the most god awful high pitched sound that could be heard to the other end of the store.

I would watch from a distance and keel over with laughter. Ah yes, good times.

Could've been worse. You could've bought one of these (http://www.gameconsoles.com/atarijaguarhome.htm) monstrosities.

Just look at the controller.

I don't think they knew what ergonomics were then Jeb.

Hey, it's probably a more natural feel than the original XBox controller. :D

A doctor in New York state has already coined the term "Wiiitis" after playing Wii tennis for a couple hours, his arm started hurting.

Truly, an expert in the field.
