accessing an old harddrive

the power supply on my laptop recently died and i had to send it off to be reparied but they also replaced my hard drive with a new one and sent me my old one with it.

how do i get into the old hard drive

the power supply broke, then why did they replace your hard drive.was it damaged.if so how badly.
you will ned a 2.%" ide hard drive to usb converter or a pc will a sata connection.
connect it to the other machine then it will load the hard drive up and hopefully allow you to retrieve your data.

I had similar issues with a laptop drive. I purchased a usb converter it took a while to get the drive to be recognised, jumper settings, but now the folders appear to be corrupt. I would be interested to see if you have a similar issue.
