Colours are off

After trying to sync some PDAs by downloading several programs all of my colours are off.
I have removed all download programs except Palm Desktop which works fine.
Reds - are much darker than the original
Greens - shows up as a lime green / yellow
cyan - shows as a very light blue
blues - are all lighter shades than originals

magenta - seems ok

This applies to MS Word, EXEL, AutoCad, and my Desktop plus anything else I work on.
Even the web sites show some difference but nt as much.

Is there any way to set the colours back to the originals.

I attach my systems details

Just guessing it sounds almost like you changed a setting on the monitor. Many monitors have a setting to give the colors a WARM or COOL look as not everyone sees things the same.

I would take a look at the monitor and see if the settings got changed and if you can just set them to a different color range that you like. Take a look in your user manual on how to do that if you're not certain.

Eureka - I found it

Thanks for your help it was the monitor, but not the settings. I realy don't know what is wrong but i tried an old monitor and low & behold "no problem"

With Flat screen LCD monitors so cheap now I may be able to convince my (much) better half
that I really need a new LCD monitor.

Thanks again for your help.
