Computer Failure

Here's a fun one: I'm running Microsoft Windows XP Home Edition, and it only lasts 30 seconds, before tuning off. Basically, I can get the computer to where I can run programs...but after that, I've got a couple seconds, before the thing dies (without any lovely warning boxes, I might add).

I'm not sure if it's an overheating issue, or a lack-of-power thing...but I'm fairly certain it's a hardware problem.

I'm kind of new at computer repair, so I'm not sure exactly what info you guys need...best I can give you, right now, is my DxDiag stuff.

Any help would be appreciated...and thanks in advance, for this wonderful site.

CPU Overheating would be my first suspect. If the processor gets too hot the machine will just turn off. Check the fan and heatsink are connected correctly. You will need to open the machine up to find this out, so be careful!
