hdd problem

recently i recognized a virus in my pc which didn't let me to access my hdd partitions so I decided to change my windows,but after setting up a new windows xp sp2 I found that all of my partitions have been lost and windows only has found c:,does anyone knows how can i get back the ather partitions????

Welcome to Free PC Help.

Right-click on My Computer and select Manage. Click the + by storage(if not extended already) and click on Disk Management.

What do you see there? If you can post a screen shot, that will also help us see better.


I think what's happened here Isa is rather than just deleting and formatting C you have chosen by accident to wipe the entire drive.
If you have done this then your other partitions will be history.

Look at my setup below and if I want to reinstall windows then I just delete C and leave the other partitions intact.
