how do i rip a cd to boot from hdd

hi i have the cd "talk now learn bulgarian" and im off to bulgaria soon with my tablet pc but i dont want to take my docking station is there a way to rip the cd-r to the hdd then boot from there with out the original cd thanks

This is a bit of a gray area. If you are given the option in the disc menu to download the program to your computer, then follow the instructions and you are good to go. If not, then it just may be that to rip the program to your computer would be violating copyright laws. Though you legally own the program, to copy it to your hard drive without permission is against the law. Inconvenient and rediculous to say the least, but the law was design to stop illegal distribution of copyrighted material. Perhaps one of the other moderators may have another suggestion.
