i have a saitek x52 flight controll system, its expencive but it has loads of good features and its easy to set up, ive used it on flight sim 2004, and x and have had no problems. Here is the link for the main saitek website

http://www.saitek.com/uk/prod/x52.htm

a good price for this can be made off

http://www.scan.co.uk/Products/ProductInfo.asp?WebProductID=173110 where it is £69.99

This joystick is very good but it does lack force feedback, although flight sims feal nothing like the real thing so that in my opinion doesnt really matter.
Hope you find this usefull!
