Hi everyone,
now this may seem a stupid question to "those in the know"...but
is there a simple way to connect my laptop to my TV...in effect using my TV screen as my main screen?
If so what cables will I need?
Thanks in advance and I hope you don't think I'm stupid :D:D
Cheers Mark

Hi Mapoole

Welcome to FPCH

Do you have an S Video connector on your laptop?
It should be a yellow socket with 7 pin connections.
If so connect that to your TV along with an audio out lead to the TV also.

Not a stupid question at all Mark.

Do you know the exact Make, Model, Version of your laptop.
If it's a name brand we can probably look it up for you online and let you know.

Otherwise we may have to post back and forth a few questions to determine.
Also what Operating System is it running?

Hi, I can't find a socket as in the photo you provided.
However I have a 15 pin "D" connector..could this be the solution?
Thanks again for your help and time:)
