Losing RAM

Hi guys

I installed a 512 ram with my 256.

That should be 768..

But my system shows 704.

Is there a reason for this drop?

seems you are sharing 64 mb on board ram,,,,this can be easily changed in the bios....look where it says shared memory or shared aperature size...what make of bios do you have.
