I'm using Microsoft XP Pro, al was fine until yesterday when I turned the computer on and it looked a bit blurred. When I shut the computer down everything goes fine until the monitor normally shuts down. The on/off button on the screen normally turns from green to orange to show its shut down, instead it stay green and the screen turns completely red, then blue, and cycles through a number of different colours, but never turns off. How do I fix this?

I just purchased a Samsung SyncMaster 940MW Monitor which includes a software disc, however, I insert the disc into the CD Rom, it will not install and I get an error message "Director Player Error" "Scrip Error, continue, yes or no?" When I click yes continue, nothing happens.
My OS is Windows ME. Any suggestions?
