Will a "HP Pavillion t3717", be able of running an "Intel - Core i5-2500 - 3.3GHz/6MB/LGA1155" processor?

I am wondering because i want to be able of playing Battlefield 3 on it. (I already have a new video card installed)

Hi, and welcome to FpcH

I deleted your other post :)

Is this your machine?

If so - the socket configuration is 775.

The Intel - Core i5-2500 has an LGA1155 socket.

The two are not compatible.

Yes, that is the PC i have. Are there any way of getting an adapter, or making it compatible?

Not that I am aware of.

The motherboard architecture is designed for the 775 socket configuration.
The only CPUs that will be compatible will need to be Socket 775

I found the following:

Socket type: 775
Motherboard supports the following processor upgrades:
  • Core 2 Duo E6x00
  • Core 2 Duo E4x00
  • Pentium D 9x0 Dual Core
  • Pentium D 8xx Dual Core
  • Pentium 4 6x1 series
  • Celeron D 3xx series
  • see here
