My cousin used my computer one day, and shut it down normally, but ever since then my computer just keeps restarting everytime it gets to the windows loading screen...i tried putting the hard drive into another working computer, and it causes that computer to do the same thing...so i figure it must be something wrong with the hard drive....i have some valuable information on it that i would like to retrieve if at al possible, but at the very least i would like to reformat the whole hard drive so i can at least reinstall the os and use the hard drive again....any help would be highly appreciated...Thanx!

To retrieve your files, your best bet is to take the hard drive out and set it as a slave in another working machine. You should then be able to backup your important data. Make sure it is backed up then reinsert the hard drive in your machine and reinstall your operating system.
