Signal Frequency is out of range

Can anyone tell me how to resolove this problem. When I boot up I get a red box stating Signal frequency is out of range please change signal timing. I cannot do anything as mouse doesn't work. Have tried rebooting. Using Windows XP and have wireless networking. HELP!
