hi, i recently bougth a pc game, but it lags on high quality and even on medium when there are a few things going on. i meet the recommended requirements (1gb memory, 3ghz processor) but i dont know what my graphics card is, could it be the graphics card causing the lag?

Yes, most likely. Modern games are very demanding of graphics cards and usually it doesn't matter about the speed of your processor or amount of memory, you just need a good enough graphics card.

Post your computer's make and model here and we can advise further.
