every time i try to restore to an earlier time it just comes up ,failed to restore help

It sounds like you have been infected with malware; often malware modifies the System Restore data files so that restoring your computer to an earlier time is useless. The best solution you have is to remove it from your machine.

First, download the Windows Defender software. Install it on your computer and then restart it your computer in Safe Mode.

You then need to scan your computer with Windows Defender. I recommend you choose "Full Scan". Once the scan is finished, quarantine all of the items.

Even if you haven't got a malware infection, these steps will ensure faster computer performance with Windows.
