Today I started on the road to stopping smoking using patches etc.
Wish me luck as I've been smoking for about 35 years.

Thanks Mike, I'm determined this time and these patches seem to be doing the trick.
I'd be interested to know if others have used them and to what success.

I smoked for 4 years, but have stopped almost 4 years ago after 3 tries. It is difficult, i know. But its the right choice :)

Thanks Jeb, so far so good, these patches must be pretty good as I haven't had even a craving yet and I was on at least 20 cigs a day.

I've been there myself. I usually quit for about two or three years at a time, then something drastic happens and I pick up the habit again :eek:
