The newest version of Ubuntu was released a few months ago and I can safely say: it rocks!

I'm sure PriceChild will back me up on this, you need to use it to believe it. They have made real improvements all round, including faster boot times, more attractive appearance, updated applications and just more 'polish'.

The orange Human thing is one of the best bits!!!

Yeah Dapper WAS good.... however Edgy Eft beta is out now!!!

I've been using Edgy since knot 2 and although most won't see any real improvement... its had HUGE under the hood upgrades.

Just try a Desktop cd guys!!! you needn't change your hard drive!

One of the problems I have found is that the Live CDs for PowerPCs don't seem to be bootable. I'd love to see how it performs on the mac without trashing OSX.
